Steven Guggenheimer
Independent non-executive Director
Steven Guggenheimer was appointed to the Board on 1 May 2020. He is an experienced technology executive with a strong track record of advising businesses on digital transformation. He brings extensive insight into technologies ranging from artificial intelligence to Cloud computing.
Mr Guggenheimer has more than 25 years of experience at Microsoft, where he has held a variety of senior leadership roles. These include: Corporate Vice President, Artificial Intelligence and Independent Software Vendor Engagement; Corporate Vice President, Chief Evangelist; and Corporate Vice President, Original Equipment Manufacturer.
He is also a non-executive director of BT Group plc, Forrit Holdings Limited, the Software Acquisition Group Inc., and Leupold & Stevens, Inc. He additionally serves as an advisor to The 5G Open Innovation Lab and UC Davis – Department of Physics and Tensility Venture Partners LLC.
He studied Applied Physics at the University of California, Davis, before receiving a Master’s of Science in Engineering and Industrial Management from Stanford University.
Mr Guggenheimer and his wife are co-founders of the Guggenheimer Family Foundation, which raises money to fund cancer care and other initiatives. Outside of work, he enjoys rugby, golf, and spending time with his family in Montana.
