Recruitment fraud alert

At HSBC, we are committed to a fair and transparent hiring process. Unfortunately, fraudsters sometimes misuse the names of well-known organizations to target job seekers.

Please be aware that HSBC will never ask candidates to pay any fees at any stage of the recruitment process, including for job applications, interviews, background checks, training or visa processing.

All legitimate opportunities with HSBC are posted on our official careers website and our recruiters communicate through authorised channels and official company email addresses.

Stay alert

Be cautious if you receive communications that:

  • Request payment for a job opportunity
  • Offer a job without a proper interview process
  • Ask for sensitive personal or banking information early in the process
  • Come from unofficial email addresses or messaging apps

These may be signs of recruitment fraud.

Report suspicious activity

If you believe you have been contacted by someone falsely claiming to represent HSBC, please report it to hdpi.recruitment@hsbc.co.in or JobsHTI@hsbc.co.in or careers@hsbc.co.in .

Important notice

HSBC does not accept responsibility for losses resulting from recruitment fraud carried out by third parties. We encourage candidates to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity.
