Our Digital Innovation Internship provides a deep dive into technology for people who want to work with the most innovative technologies to solve problems at a global scale for millions of customers.

Interns can join in one of three core streams; Engineering, Cyber and Data.

Through technology you will power the world’s leading international bank, delivering easy and innovative digital experiences for customers and colleagues, while keeping people’s money safe and their data secure.

You’ll be part of a team working on real business problems that have a business-critical impact and create products or services through innovative use of technology.

You’ll collaborate with specialists in Engineering, Data and Cybersecurity, they’ll share their experience and knowledge so you’re ready for future opportunities.

The programme offers a personalised development, global experience, and skills. You’ll have exposure and the opportunity to apply your learning and skills to a range of areas such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Metaverse, Quantum Computing, Digital Trust, Development, Operations, Innovation and Transformation, Architecture, Global Payments and more.

After the internship you’ll have the possibility to transition to our two-year Digital Innovation Graduate Programme.

Requirements:
  • Available to work full time for 8 weeks commencing July 2024
  • Obtained, or expected to achieve, a 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA if you are studying in mainland China or a 2:1 or equivalent degree if you are studying outside of mainland China (as appears on your official university transcript or Degree certificate)
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin
  • Legally permitted to work in mainland China
Additional information:

Degree Subject requirements: This role is open to all candidates interested in starting a career in Cyber, Data or Software Engineering and there is a preference for candidates from a Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths degree background, for example, Computer Science, Data Science etc.
