Working with high-net-worth clients isn’t just about numbers – it’s about people. I build long-term, meaningful connections with clients on the cusp of Private Banking, helping them make smart decisions with their wealth and their future.
A Premier Relationship Director

I manage around 200 clients, many of whom are business owners, hedge fund managers and law firm partners with £750,000 to £1.5million in assets. They’re often preparing for major liquidity events – selling a business, restructuring their finances, or planning a legacy – and I’m there to guide them through it.
Our conversations rarely start with finance. It might begin over lunch, at their home, or at an event like Chinese New Year at The Shard. These moments build trust – the real foundation of this role. Once the relationship is there, we work together to map their goals: income, growth or intergenerational wealth.

A career shaped by people
I’m surrounded by an expert network, from wealth managers to product and mortgage specialists, so I can focus on understanding the client and connecting them with the right advice.

I started at HSBC as an Account Opening Specialist in Coventry. Now, I work at the newly opened London Wealth Centre and the Camden Town branch, where I’ve trained others to spot opportunities for deeper relationships. After nearly two decades in London, I’ve worked alongside almost every relationship and wealth manager in the city.
It’s a clear path at HSBC, with structured development into Wealth, Private Bank and senior leadership roles.
I stay because of the clients, many of whom are self-made people with fresh perspectives and bold ideas. I learn as much from them as they do from me. And I stay because HSBC surrounds me with the support and structure to grow, just as I do for my clients.
