I am Ngan from Global Markets sales covering institutional clients. I joined HSBC Vietnam in 2008 through the banking trainee programme. I firstly joined HSBC more on the Retail Banking side in a project team, and then after two years I moved to Global Markets team as an institutional sales [member].
I think for the current role it’s very interesting in many aspects of the job itself, offering a good solution to my clients. It takes the whole process to come to that outcome, like work with other teams to understand their financial needs, the risks, and to offer solutions for them to manage their business risks.
A very critical factor for me to decide that I want to be with HSBC was the firm’s values itself. It’s actually a firm that, this is the organisation that I want to be with and I want to contribute to.
