HSBC allows me to live in a new city, meet new people and develop my abilities

The rotations on the global graduate programme focus on three different areas in Global Private Banking, which gives a detailed and wide-ranging exposure to how private banking has evolved. At the moment I’m in the front line, working with Relationship Managers to check the status of different situations with different clients and tracking the progress we are making.

I lived and studied in Barcelona so being posted to Geneva is very exciting and fulfils one of my dreams to live and work abroad. One of the things that struck me about HSBC when I joined is how supportive everyone is here. I can ask any colleague for advice. People always have a moment for you and I regularly meet with my manager and buddy. With all this support I know I will be successful in the programme and in my aspirations to work around the world, helping clients and developing my abilities.

This 10-week internship is for penultimate-year bachelor’s or master’s degree students. It offers a detailed understanding of what it takes to become a relationship manager, investment counsellor or product specialist within Global Private Banking.
