London, for me, is my home. I was born here and I grew up here. I went to school here and I find myself working here now.
I take a tram to work every day, and it takes me about 45 minutes.
Dubai is the place that I spend most of my time in. I am here seven days a week – five for work and two for university. Well, I leave early in the morning because I live a bit far away. So I have to be up early, reading or finding out what is happening in Asia and in Europe.
I have lived in Hong Kong for almost all of my life. Some people may wonder why I take such a slow transport. I like the tram because when I get on the tram I can look at the scenery; I can also observe people.
One of the best things about my job is that I have been able to experience a number of people from a wide range of backgrounds, and I have been able to travel quite a lot.
It is interesting juggling work and studying at the same time and having a seven-day week, but it is challenging and I like the challenge.
The part I like about my job is working with different people in different departments.
What I like the most is that it does not matter how young you are, from the moment you start, you are given responsibilities.
I chose the graduate programme because I wanted to work for a big organisation. The programme gives you a good chance to have a look into different departments that you might be interested in.
I work with a great team; they have really pushed me to develop as an individual and it is probably the reason why I am still at HSBC.
When I tell my friends and family that I work for HSBC, they all feel very happy because HSBC is the leading bank in Hong Kong.
I think the next step in my career is to put a team together and lead that team so that I can share the knowledge I have learned during the past four years.
HSBC is the first place that I have ever worked in. I think it is a good first choice because you get to meet a range of diverse cultures and backgrounds.
HSBC puts people's strength into good use.
And I really think I have taken the opportunity to develop myself in a way that, potentially, other bankers might not have been able to.
