Overall everyone tries to achieve a work-life balance but shifting priorities can demand a lot of time. I like that managers notice if you are working hard and encourage you to take time off when you can.
The shifting priorities mean I am never bored. I am helping managing a dynamic portfolio of clients with changing needs and that keeps me on my toes. Changes in the economy, government regulations and due diligence can change my daily focus so my day ends completely differently from how I thought it would have gone.
Being involved in the entire end-to-end credit underwriting process helps me provide full service solutions to our clients. I analyse new clients, their existing facilities and evaluate them from a management, financial and macro-economic perspective to assess credit risk. Getting to know all this about your customer helps develop strong, professional relationships with them.
