Our ambition is to become the bank of choice in the UK and we have three clear priorities to help achieve this: to protect, streamline and grow our business. We believe that our move to Birmingham will take us one step closer to that goal.

Our Head Office will be less than a 10-minute walk from Birmingham New Street station. Opening in January 2018 it will be a fully flexible, state of the art building – putting us right in the heart of the city for our employees and our customers.

Business areas

All business areas: leadership roles and executive support, PA and administrative roles.

Retail Banking and Wealth Management: includes teams in Product and Propositions, Strategy and Planning, Digital Banking, Wealth Management, Global Asset Management and HSBC Insurance.

Commercial Banking: includes teams of Relationship Managers supporting small, mid-market companies and large corporates. In addition, we have product specialists working in Global Trade and Receivables Finance and Global Liquidity and Cash Management.

  • Business Development

  • Business Performance

  • Business Risk

  • Channels Management

  • Customer Insight and Experience

Global Functions: includes head office support roles in HR, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Internal Audit, Risk, Compliance and Legal. Within these teams we will be recruiting for the following roles:

  • HR: Business Partners, Reward Specialists, and Learning and Development Specialists

  • Finance: Analysts, Business Planners and Business Partners

  • Risk and Compliance: Operational Risk, Fraud, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance and Risk Analysis

  • Communications: Media Relations and Employee Communications

  • Audit, Legal, and the Company Secretary team

  • Marketing: Customer Marketing Managers, Digital, Creative, Campaign Managers and Customer Insight

HSBC Operations Services and Technology: includes roles in Operations, Technology, Procurement and Corporate Real Estate.
