Global Banking
The HSBC Group provides a wide range of corporate banking services to top-tier Italian corporates, financial institutions, selected public sector entities and subsidiaries of foreign multinationals. Services offered include a full range of capital markets solutions, supplemented by traditional commercial banking products and services, including working capital facilities. For Italian corporates and institutions with international operations, the Milan office offers access to HSBC's extensive global branch network.

Mergers and acquisitions, advisory services, fairness opinions and valuations as well as access to equity capital markets (IPO, right issues, convertible and equity linked products) are offered by a fully dedicated team of advisory bankers in Italy, in conjunction with specialist teams in London, Paris and other jurisdictions, as may be appropriate.

Structured project finance, syndicated loans and capital markets services are offered in conjunction with specialist areas of HSBC in London, HSBC France in Paris and with local liaison from Milan.

The HSBC Bank plc rep office in Rome provides marketing support to HSBC Project and Export Finance in London who structure export credit facilities (SACE) involving Italian exporters and local medium-term project financing.

Global Markets
A wide range of Treasury, Capital Markets and Securities products are offered to corporations, institutional, private investors and local financial institutions in close integration with main Group dealing rooms situated in London, New York, Hong Kong, Paris and Düsseldorf. The product range includes Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate and Credit Derivatives, distribution and underwriting of sovereign, supranational, agency, financial institution and corporate fixed and floating rate bonds, hybrid debt and all types of capital instruments.

The Treasury team also offers Money Market products to corporate customers.
