HSBC Singapore Apprenticeship Programme (Polytechnic)
Gain hands-on work experience and develop your knowledge of banking and financial services on our 12-month Apprenticeship Programme.
We will provide you with opportunities to be responsible for a number of different projects through which you’ll improve your professional and personal skills.
You will also receive a combination of on-the-job and practical training, and be encouraged to learn, ask questions, and develop your professional network.
You’ll have the opportunity to be considered for a permanent role at HSBC upon successful completion of the programme.

Who can apply
This programme is open to Singapore residents who are lawfully employable in Singapore and who meet the following requirements:
- Graduated, or will graduate, from a recognised Polytechnic in 2022, 2023 or 2024 from any study discipline
- Those who have completed National Service are also eligible to apply
- Available to work full time from May / June 2024 for a duration of 12 months
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good learning attitude and with a can-do personality
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Fluency in English
We are also hiring for our five-month Student Work Placement (Polytechnic), which is suitable for final year Polytechnic students from any study discipline. The programme will run from September 2024 to February 2025. Applications for the next intake will open in April 2024.
