HSBC celebrated the arrival of the rugby sevens in Hong Kong with a new advert, calling on fans, players and customers to #BRINGYOURGAME for the Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens held last month.

The tournament is the biggest in the HSBC Sevens World Series. This year the campaign is a celebration of sevens emerging as an international sport.

In the advert both players and fans come to the sevens to showcase their skills, on and off the field. Some of the best sevens players from around the world are challenged to a dance-off against some of the best-dressed fans.

HSBC has helped introduce thousands of young people around the world to rugby sevens as part of a two-year grassroots programme. The bank provides coaching sessions to those new to the game in partnership with Serevi Rugby, co-founded by Waisale Serevi who won the Rugby World Cup Sevens twice with Fiji. HSBC is a long-term sponsor of rugby at all levels and since 2010 has backed the IRB’s Sevens World Series.
