Marc Moses has been Group Chief Risk Officer, HSBC Holdings plc, since December 2010. He is also a Group Managing Director and a member of the Group Management Board with responsibility for risk and compliance. Mr Moses joined HSBC in November 2005 as Chief Financial and Risk Officer with global responsibility for leading and managing the finance and risk functions of Global Banking and Markets. In January 2008, he was also appointed chief of staff, responsible for all infrastructure in Global Banking and Markets. He began his career as an actuarial trainee at Sedgwick before joining Bankers Trust as a fixed income, money market and futures trader. A qualified accountant, he was audit partner and head of the market risk advisory group at PricewaterhouseCoopers. In 1999 he joined JP Morgan as European chief financial officer and global head of the valuation control group. Mr Moses lives in North London and is married with four children. He is a keen Arsenal supporter and enjoys playing tennis.
