France Apprenticeship Programme
The France Apprenticeship Programme is for students looking to gain practical experience and build the skills needed for a long and successful career in banking. We also look to the programme to provide a pipeline of talent for our management programmes and entry-level permanent roles.

We accept applications from April/May to the end of September for this programme. Please note that applications outside of the stated application period will not be accepted.

Who can apply?
To be considered for the programme, you will:
- Be a student studying at a university in France
What to expect
Supported by experienced managers, colleagues and a wide network of diverse peers, you will be encouraged to take on responsibility and bring new ideas to the table. You will be valued as an individual and for the contribution you make.
On the programme, you will spend about one-third of your time at university and about two-thirds at HSBC in France on a fixed-term, part-time contract. During your time with us, you will develop a range of skills in line with your university course. This will involve working on relevant projects as part of a highly motivated team. All your training will be financed by HSBC.
You can expect practical training that will complement your academic studies, embedding our values while growing your career. During the France Apprenticeship Programme, you will be challenged to use your talents and academic knowledge to add value to the bank and improve your professional and personal skills.

We typically offer thorough grounding in the world of business and banking. This will ease your transition into a professional environment. Full support will be provided by your immediate manager and, of course, by your university tutor.
