Joining HSBC was a fantastic opportunity for me to work for a truly international bank. Our capabilities and footprint enable me to work with some of the largest companies in the world.
After gaining experience in Relationship Management, I specialised in Global Liquidity and Cash Management where my role was to manage a portfolio of Asian headquartered multinationals and look after their cash management needs throughout Europe. This typically involved meeting with client’s regional offices, preparing and delivering proposals and working as part of the wider relationship management team to grow and develop key clients.
After several years in London, I was successful in applying to transfer to HSBC's US operation based in San Francisco. This was a significant opportunity to further develop my skills and gain experience of working in a different market. I’m now globally responsible for a portfolio of Consumer Brands, Retail and Healthcare companies headquartered in the USA. Within this role I act as the principle point of contact for my clients in relation to their Global Liquidity and Cash Management business with HSBC. I have established myself as an advisor on sector trends as well as mobilising our global capabilities for my clients in order to develop our relationships with them.
