Extending China's rural bank network
HSBC is expanding its rural bank network in China's western, central, northern and eastern regions, offering financial services tailored to the needs of people in rural areas. This is helping rural enterprises and farmers to access credit, as they sometimes lack the assets that can be used as collateral in traditional banking services.
