The Wolfsberg Group

In addition, HSBC is a founder member of the Wolfsberg Group and subscribes to the following guidelines:

  • Wolfsberg Anti-Money Laundering Principles for Private Banking.
  • Wolfsberg Anti-Money Laundering Principles for Correspondent Banking.
  • Wolfsberg Statement on the Suppression of the Funding of Terrorism.

In September 2003, we decided to further our long-standing environmental policy by adopting the Equator Principles, which cover project financing.

We are also members of Transparency International (UK), the anti-corruption pressure group.
