Sustainability Report 2007
We engaged Det Norske Veritas (DNV) to provide independent third-party assurance of the contents of HSBC’s Sustainability Report 2007. Their full-length assurance statement is found on p. 34 of the HSBC Sustainability Report 2007.
HSBC's carbon neutrality and its implementation of the Equator Principles are two separate areas in our Sustainability Strategy. Their verification requires differing methodology, which is why DNV has provided a separate assurance statement for each. These statements are found below.
