From a 94 year old who completes 18 holes three times a week to an amputee and an eight year old prodigy, HSBC is set to launch its new "Swings" TV advertisement, celebrating the eccentricities of golfers’ swings and the fact that no two are the same.
HSBC will use the advertisement to support its position as a worldwide sponsor of golf, which extends from the professional game right through to the grassroots level of the sport.
'Swings' will launch on 8 June 2006 on the Jumbotron screen outside Madison Square Garden in New York in the build up to the HSBC Women's World Match Play Championship at Hamilton Farm GC, New Jersey (July 6-9).
It will then be launched internationally on global channels such as CNN and BBC World in the build up to the HSBC World Match Play Championship at Wentworth, UK (Sept 14-17) and the HSBC Champions tournament in Shanghai, China (Nov 9-12).
